How do you de-ice parking lots so efficiently?

We use a product called Magic Salt. We apply it with the top of the line equipment, that is maintained to top industry standards.

What is Magic Salt?

Magic Salt is made by coating NaCl with a liquid called Magic -0.

Magic Salt provides a pretreating quality as well as a de-icing quality.  The special coating of Magic -0 prevents the snow from sticking to the pavement and creating a buildup of ice pack.

Magic Salt is a safer alternative (as recognized by the EPA) than regular rock salt, and when applied correctly, leaves no harmed curbside grasses as regular rock salt does.

What is Magic -0?

Magic -0 is a liquid byproduct of beer and vodka that is left over after manufacturing. It was first discovered in Europe, and was brought to America as Magic -0. Magic -0 can be applied in liquid form directly to the pavement, or sprayed onto rock salt to help in the deicing.

Why use Magic?

Magic Salt lowers the effective working range of rock salt. Regular rock salt will stop working around 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Magic Salt will keep working well into the negative temperature range.
